White Sox (Jackson) @ Detroit (Scherzer) 9/6/2010
Play On: White Sox +115 (10,000-Dime)
Making his third start against the his former team since joining the White Sox Edwin Jackson will try to help Chicago extend its road winning streak to seven. Jackson, an All-Star with the Tigers in 2009, is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in two starts against Detroit since joining Chicago. Jackson has gone 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA in five starts since arriving from Arizona on July 30, pitching at least seven innings four times. He struck out 11 and gave up three runs over 8.2 innings of a 4-3 win at Cleveland on Tuesday. Jackson, who won his second straight start, became the first White Sox starter with double-digit strikeouts in three consecutive outings since Floyd Bannister in 1985. The White Sox are winners of four of five at Detroit this season. Detroit improved to 6-0 on a 10-game trip with a 7-5 win over Boston on Sunday. Play on the White Sox as a 10,000-Dime High Roller.

Sunday 100-Dimer on E.Carolina +7.0 outright!
Tulsa @ East Carolina 9/5/2010
Play On: East Carolina +7.0 (100-Dime)
East Carolina has won back-to-back league titles and have posted four straight winning seasons for the first time since 1976-1979. Former Texas Tech assistant Ruffin McNeill's era at East Carolina will begin Sunday, and the new head coach is eager to get the ball rolling in 2010. McNeill takes over a strong program that has gone to four consecutive bowl games and has dominated league foes over the past two seasons with a 14-2 record. The Pirates are poised to give the Hurricane a taste of its own medicine on Sunday, unveiling its version of the old Texas Tech “Air Raid”. Sure, there’ll be a learning curve, but the new staff is excited about the potential of Boston College transfer Dominique Davis and is comfortable with the receivers he’ll be throwing to in the fall. In particular, Dwayne Harris is a bona fide star, who’ll also be used under center in “wildcat” packages. Tulsa is far too generous on defense, lacking the defensive backs to contend with a team that could put the ball in the air 40 times.
East Carolina is a perfect 4-0 SU&ATS in their last 4 conference games as an underdog of 3.5 or more. Tulsa is 0-3 SU&ATS in their last 3 games as a road favorite of 12.0 or less. Play on the East Carolina Pirates as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: East Carolina 51 Tulsa 49
Saturday CFB 100-Dimers are a 3-0 SWEEP!
Washington St. @ Oklahoma St. 9/4/10
Play On: Oklahoma St. -17.0 (100-Dime)
Washington St. was simply dreadful on offense last season, ranking 119th in the nation in both scoring (12.0 ppg) and total yards (248.6 ypg. The Cougar ground game averaged a pathetic 70.7 ypg a year ago and lacks options again this year. Just like the offense, the defense for WSU abysmal last season and ranked last in the nation by allowing a whopping 512.0 total ypg.
The receiving corps lacks star power but should get help from a solid ground attack that features a dynamic runner in Kendall Hunter. Slowed by injuries last season, Hunter managed just 382 yards and scored only a single touchdown. I llok for Hunter to return to his 2008 form when he produced 1,555 yards and 16 scores. The Cougars still lack the same kind of talent and that will allow Oklahoma St. to prevail big on its home field this weekend.
Final: Oklahoma St. 65 Washington St. 17
Cincinnati @ Fresno St. 9/4/10
Play On: Fresno St. -2.5 (100-Dime)
The Fresno St. Bulldogs are a perfect 6-0 when opening at home and 5-0 in their last 5 season openers under current head coach Pat Hill. Always prepared to hit anything that moves, the Fresno State defense has to be happy about the fact that five of the top tacklers from last season are slated to return.
As great a record as the Bearcats had last year, their defense was far from solid, at least not on a consistent basis. The Cincinnati defense returns just six players who at one time or another started a game last season. The pass defense watched as opponents threw for 230.2 ypg, ranking them sixth in the conference and 78th nationally, but some of that could have been because those opponents were constantly trying to play catch-up and had no choice but to put the ball in the air. However, permitting 143.8 ypg on the ground was also an issue for the squad and they ranked seventh in the conference in that department.
With so many changes taking place for the Bearcats, they are no longer the darling of the Big East Conference. Expect Fresno to exact some level of revenge for the loss in the meeting a year ago. Play on Fresno St. minus the small number as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: Fresno St. 28 Cincinnati 14
Wisconsin @ UNLV 9/4/10
Play On: Wisconsin -19.5 (100-Dime)
The Badger offensive line should obliterate the UNLV defensive front. The Badger front five might be the best in the Big Ten and is among the toughest in America. UNLV has some major beefeaters to theoretically stuff things up, but the Badger backfield has weapons to run inside and out while OT Gabe Carimi and the UW offensive front should take over the game by the second half. Quarterback Scott Tolzien has already proven that he can be a significant part of the offense for the Badgers as well, having led the conference in pass efficiency with a rating of 143.0. Tolzien passed for 2,705 yards, second-most in school history and because he was able to average more than 200 ypg, Wisconsin was one of only six teams in the country to average more than 200 ypg both on the ground and through the air. The Badgers will wear down the Rebels by the 2nd half and win this game going away. Play on Wisconsin minus the big number as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: Wisconsin 41 UNLV 21
Friday CFB 100-Dimer WINS in a ROUT!
Arizona @ Toledo 9/3/2010
Play On: Arizona -16.0 (100-Dime)
As Toledo continues its massive rebuilding project on defense, this is not the opponent it wants to see on the opening weekend. The Wildcats have a diverse attack, a returning quarterback, and enough size and speed to run circles around the Rockets. Nick Foles is back for his second year behind center, and a healthy Nic Grigsby will provide the yards on the ground. Toledo’s bread-and-butter passing game might sputter, with unproven Austin Dantin set to take over at quarterback. He’ll have the dual-concern of trying to avoid all-star CB Trevin Wade and hard-charging ends Ricky Elmore and Brooks Reed when he drops back to pass. Arizona possesses too much offensive firepower and muscle for a Rocket defense that doesn’t have enough stoppers after LB Archie Donald. Play on the Arizona Wildcats minus the points as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: Arizona 41 Toledo 2
